Biobased content derived from sugarcane molasses, used in place of conventional synthetics.
Derived in part from sugarcane molasses recovered from the food industry, this material incorporates approximately 30% biobased content into its polymer composition.
Produced in Umbria, Italy, it brings biobased material innovation into the finer components of Prota Fiori footwear. We use it for select ties and accessories within our shoes.
The material reflects an approach that runs throughout Prota Fiori: reconsidering even the smallest components of a shoe and seeking more thoughtful alternatives without compromising design or Italian craftsmanship.
