Silk produced through a biologic process.
Made in the Lake Como area, a region synonymous with Italian silk and textile excellence, our satin combines biologic silk with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose.
The biologic silk is GOTS certified, meaning its organic fibers are produced without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or genetically modified organisms. GOTS requirements extend beyond the fiber itself, covering the processing, manufacturing and trading of certified organic textiles.
Smooth, luminous and refined, the fabric brings the tradition of Italian silk-making into Prota Fiori footwear. We use it as an upper material, where its softness and fluidity become part of the architecture of the shoe.
