One way we contribute to preserving the quality of water is through vegetable tanning our leather as an alternative to more prevalent tanning methods. The latter often uses harmful and toxic substances which find their way into the environment and water systems.

As an alternative to the more polluting method of air travel, we ship our goods via boat whenever possible. PROTA FIORI also supports the use of clean energy among our supply chain partners. For example, our apple and grape byproduct suppliers run solar panel facilities, and our warehouse provider also pioneers many sustainable initiatives.

Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.

 PROTA FIORI uses Forest Stewardship Council certified paper in our packaging. The FSC ensures that our paper comes from responsibly managed forests. Along this theme, our partner Treedom  plants trees with a purpose of giving back to the environment and local farmers. Lastly, our reusable and 100% recycled organic cotton bags have been grown without fertilizers and pesticides. This practice encourages biodiversity and promotes soil health.
